Here’s the PR blurb for the upcoming Plaster The Town show I’m helping organize opening June 30th. My solo work will be mixed in with the Squad19 stuff. Live bands, beer, rock posters, etc… be there or be octagonal. (bring money)

SPAM (Sexy Poster Artists of Minnesota), a group of MN poster artists working together, planning shows, cooperating to make the local poster scene an orgy of creativity, presents Plaster the Town 2007.

PTT07 Features gigposters (posters done for bands to promote concerts) for shows both locally and nationally.

Starting in a small gallery in Lower Town St. Paul, Plaster the Town drew capacity crowds for the first two years it ran. Last year the Minneapolis College of Art and Design took it over with a traveling poster show that started in Atlanta called Graphic Noise. MCAD pulled in more than 2000 people on opening night. This year Plaster the Town features the usual suspects: Aesthetic Apparatus, AmyJo, BRLSQ, DWITT, Squad19, Tooth, Adam Turman and Lon Unitus. This year the gang takes up residence at the Soap Factory, a bigger venue with more room to party.

Tracy, one of my partners in crime on this Harley-Davidson project also happens to be a part of a pretty sweet musical duo known as Rebel Yellow. They have a new EP that they just released that is pretty fantastic. You can hear songs on their website and myspace pages. Check it out and look for a full length in the near future.
